You hear the word branding almost on a daily basis. The word has different meanings to different people. But it all starts with a logo, which is generally the first thing you identify with any company. Logos are meant to create a feeling of trust, excitement, connection, an identifiable mark that sets you apart from your competition. Some of the most famous logos in the world are simple to the eye, but may have more of a hidden meaning that perhaps you realize. For example, did you know there is an hidden arrow in the FedEx logo, a number 31 in the Baskins Robins logo and Amazon subtly shows you they sell everything from A to Z.
The FedEx logo is mostly known for its tricky optical illusion. If you look closely between letters E and X, you’ll spot a white arrow. It stands for speed, accuracy, strive for perfection, and perseverance in achieving goals.
Baskin Robbins recently rebranded but kept the iconic 31 within the logo. Placed in between the “B” and the “R” of the main logo, the number represents the idea that Baskin-Robbins consumers should explore a new flavor every day of the month.
And finally Amazon, their logo is extremely simple and while the arrow may just look like a smile it actually points from a to z. This represents that Amazon sells everything from a to z, and the smile on the customers face when they bought a product.
If you look close our logo, you will notice a subtle M at the top and arrow pointing forward that reenforces our slogan “move forward, move ahead”. If you are interested in seeing more famous branding, we encourage you to read this post about 27 famous logos with hidden meanings.
